A Catholic Mass for Margaret (Peg) MacShara will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Killeen.
A private burial in Detroit, Michigan will be at a later date.

Mrs. MacShara passed away March 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Flint, Michigan on July 31, 1927. She was raised and resided in Detroit, Michigan until relocating to Killeen, Texas to follow her children. She has resided in Killeen for 30 years.

Mrs. MacShara passed away March 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Flint, Michigan on July 31, 1927. She was raised and resided in Detroit, Michigan until relocating to Killeen, Texas to follow her children. She has resided in Killeen for 30 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and loved cooking and baking for them. She was a member of St. Joseph's Knight Cappers and Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond (Ray) MacShara, her parents, Ludwig "Mike" and Myrtle Frisch, and her brother, James Frisch.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Ed McKenzie of Killeen, Kathy and Ed Perrin of Killeen, Cynthia and Ray Sulewski of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Maria (Mike) Pate of Leavenworth, Kansas, Michael (Sharida) McKenzie of Georgetown, and Katie (Mike) Sanfelippo of Tyler, Ray Perrin of Culver City, California, Laraine (Nick) Cummings of Killeen, Samantha and Lauri Sulewski of Plano, great'''grandchildren, Joshua, Clarissa and Courtney of Tyler and Aliyah of Georgetown.

Mom appreciated flowers when she was living, but preferred to have donations made to St. Joseph's Catholic School or to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital @www.stjude.org , where many can benefit. Please honor her wishes to donate instead of sending flowers.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, with a Rosary recited at 7 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
